Refund Policy
1) Right-Fit Guarantee
We want you to be able to experience our tutoring with zero risk. If your first tutoring session isn’t a good fit, email us at hello@rascotutoring.com within 24 hours of the session end time and we’ll refund you in full.

Applies to your first completed paid session with us.

If you bought a session package, invoking this guarantee within 24 hours of the first session gives you a full refund of the package and deactivates the package.

Once a second session begins, the Right-Fit Guarantee expires.
2) Refunds After First Session
Except for the Right-Fit Guarantee above (Section 1), all sales are final.

No refunds for used or unused sessions, package time remaining, missed sessions, late cancellations, schedule changes, or changes in personal circumstances, except where required by law.
3) Packages

A session package is valid for 6 months (180 days) from the purchase date.

Unscheduled or unused sessions expire after this period and are forfeited.

Packages are transferable within a family.

If you need extra time, email scheduling@rascotutoring.com before expiry for a one-time 30 day courtesy extension.
4) Rescheduling & Cancellations
To cancel/reschedule, email scheduling@rascotutoring.com.

You may reschedule or cancel a session 24+ hours before the scheduled start time with no charge.

Late reschedules/cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) and no-shows are charged in full (or deducted from your package) and cannot be rebooked or refunded.

Late arrivals: We'll wait for 15 minutes. After that, the session will be considered a no-show. Arriving late shortens your session; the session still ends at the scheduled time.
5) Our Cancellations (Tutor Illness, Emergency, etc.)
If we must cancel, we’ll offer the earliest available reschedule. If the reschedule would fall outside your package’s Validity Period, we’ll extend the expiry to accommodate the make-up.
6) Session Length & Counting

A “session” means the standard length you purchased (e.g., 90 minutes).

Any session that begins is considered delivered for billing/refund purposes.
7) Payments & Billing

Payment is due in advance for single sessions and packages.

Prices may change prospectively. Discounts/promotions aren’t retroactive.

Chargebacks/disputes: Please contact us first—we can usually resolve issues quickly.
8) Conduct & Safety
We reserve the right to stop a session or end services for inappropriate behavior, safety concerns, or academic integrity violations. Sessions ended for these reasons are not refundable.
9) Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time. The active policy is always the one listed here.
